Matthew has been with National Bank Financial Markets since 2012, playing a key role in expanding the equity and rate-linked structured products business across Canada.

Matthew founded the Right to Play Gran Fondo in 2021, which has since become a flagship annual fundraiser for the charity. He's also deeply involved in fostering leadership and teamwork through sports, coaching his daughters' hockey teams and serving as Co-Chair of the Right To Play's Playmakers Board. Recently, he was invited to join the Canadian Advisory Board in 2024, furthering his impact within the organization.

Matthew holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and an MBA from INSEEC Business School. At U of T, he played for the varsity hockey and lacrosse teams and later coached the men’s varsity lacrosse team.

Outside of work and philanthropy, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 8-year-old twin daughters. He's an avid road cyclist, dedicating a couple of weeks each year to conquering famous mountain passes in Europe. In his leisure moments, Matthew indulges in his love for stand-up comedy, finding joy in laughter whenever time allows.
