Jon has a bachelor's, master's, and Doctoral Degrees from the University of Toronto, Nipissing University, and Oxford University. He has served as Chancellor of Nipissing University, Pro-Vice-Chancellor University of Oxford, Vice-President & Chief Advancement Officer University of Toronto, Vice-President Development University of Waterloo, President Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, and President & CEO Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Foundation. He is Advancement Counsel to Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, has served as Chair of the Board at the Art Canada Institute, and has engaged in a variety of other community activities over the years including the Toronto Community Foundation. Jon was appointed to The Order of Canada in 2006 for his contributions to philanthropy. He was recruited to our Advisory Board from our International Board of Directors in 2017.
