John is the sole shareholder of Obelysk, which has major investments in the satellite radio, real estate and other businesses. He is one of the founders of an alternative asset investment firm, PointNorth Capital, and the volunteer President and CEO of Toronto's Bid for the 2008 Olympic Games. John founded the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club in 1993, led the NBA franchise-bid process, launched the team and created the Air Canada Centre. He is the founder of S’Cool Life Fund, which supports public elementary schools in Drama, Recreation, Extra-Curricular, Arts, Music and Sports. John was recruited for our Advisory Board by Johann Olav Koss in 2004.
